Leap Motion Controllers
Details: 2 available
Description:: The Leap Motion Controller is a Kinect-like input device for both Mac and Windows platforms. It uses infrared sensors to translate the motions of your hands into input for numerous applications. The main purpose of the Leap Controller is its capability to sense and capture how one naturally moves their hands and or fingers. This ability allows for a developer to model interactions with on-screen applications in a whole new way: Point, wave, reach, grab. Pick something up and move it. Do things you never dreamed possible…
- Real 3D interaction: 150 degree field of view which creates a wide interactive space between you and your computer.
- Accurate, sub-millimeter hand tracking with near-zero latency.
- Quick setup: download the Leap Motion software (sdk), plug the device into your USB port, and you’re ready to go..
Once you’ve downloaded the sdk – there are a number of different Platform Integrations & Libraries which support the Leap Controller Platform. Please check out this page initiated by Leap Motion for more details. Note: The Leap Controller has been successfully used in Processing with the following library.
